What to Bring

RoC overnight events take place at campgrounds in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  This means you will need to bring items to make sure you’re comfortable and have a good time.

If you are PCing, you will need:

· Your own garb

· Your own weaponry

· Sleeping bag and/or blankets

· Weather-appropriate gear (warm cloaks, ponchos, sunscreen, bug spray)

· A pillow

· A flashlight

· Food - snacks and water are provided.  There is usually food for purchase at the tavern, but it’s not good to rely on it in case you miss mealtime.

· Soap, towel, shampoo, etc.

· Necessary makeup and prosthetics for your character

· Two copies of your character sheet (one for plot, one for you)

· Any game fees in cash

For a day game, you will need to bring:

· Any game fees in cash

· Two copies of your character sheet

· Food - only water is provided for day games.  Bring snacks or a meal.

· Some amount of costuming - it’s understandable to skip makeup for a day game, but you get extra coolness points if you wear it anyway

· Weaponry

If you are NPCing, you will need:

· Sleeping bag and/or blankets

· A pillow

· A flashlight

· Soap, towel, shampoo, etc.

· Dark/black clothing that can be worn under garb

For a day game, you will need to bring:

· Food - only water is provided for day games.  Bring snacks or a meal.

· Any game fees in cash - most day games give NPCs the option of paying half the event cost to get the PC amount of experience points.

· Dark/black clothing that can be worn under garb
